University of Hohenheim
The origins of the University date back to the year 1818. A remarkably high quota of foreign students throughout the 19th century established the early international reputation of Hohenheim. In 1967 the former "Agricultural College" became the University of Hohenheim. The beautiful 200 year old Hohenheim Castle is the focal point of the university campus.
The University of Hohenheim has approximately 6 000 students enrolled in 3 faculties:
Faculty of Natural Sciences
Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences
The University is located in Stuttgart, the capital city of Baden-Württemberg. With 580 000 inhabitants, Stuttgart is the economic, cultural, sporting and social hub of the region.
