Orientation Program

A warm welcome to the University of Stuttgart!

With our Orientation Information we would like to make your first steps in Stuttgart easier:
In group sessions we will help you with the formalities, explain the German university system and provide tips for living and studying in Stuttgart. The academic student advisors or experienced students will also offer study counselling for you.

Please note that this Orientation Information is offered to students who arrive in April and October respectively and who do not participate in an intensive German course.

 

You will be welcomed by the staff of the Office of International Affairs and by student tutors of the Universität Stuttgart at the Internationales Zentrum (IZ) (Office of International Affairs).

Dates of our next Orientation Programs at the IZ for students who do NOT participate in a preparatory intensive German course will be published as soon as they are fixed.

 

Registration for the orientation program preferably upon arrival at the IZ during the following opening hours:

  • Montag bis Freitag 10 Uhr bis 12 Uhr
  • Montag und Mittwoch zusätzlich von 13:30 Uhr bis 16 Uhr
