  Accom  modation
  
  For the length of your stay, the Office of International Affairs will reserve a room in a student dormitory for you. Most of the student dormitories are located on the Campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. The dormitories are co-ed, meaning both male and female students live on the same floor. The rooms are equipped with table, chair, bed, wardrobe/closet, bookshelf and a washbasin. There is a common kitchen, toilet and shower for everyone on the floor. You must provide your own dishes, which you can bring with you, but it is probably best to buy them in Germany. The rent is about EUR 250 - 350 per month. Rooms can only be rented for a whole month. Bed-linen and coverlets can be bought from the building manager (Hausmeister) of your student dormitory for EUR 35,- .
  Before moving in all students have to pay a deposit and share of the first month's rent of EUR 600,- . Please pay the deposit after your arrival in Stuttgart. The deposit will be returned when you move out if the room is clean and undamaged.
