Living expenses
In general, all students will need about 700 EUR per month. This will cover the following:
- Rent approx. 220 EUR to 330 EUR (without meals)
- Health insurance appox. 70 EUR
- Semester ticket for public transport approx. 31 EUR (approx. EUR 185 per semester)
- Food approx. 150 EUR
- Other incidentals approx. 100 EUR
Semester fees
Students have to pay an administrative fee and a fee for the student services Studentenwerksbeitrag of total 138 EUR per semester. The tuition fee of 500 Euro per semester was abolished and is no longer charged since summer semester 2012.
