Module 2 / Intensive German Course
Dates: March 03 – April 13
| After a placement test, participants learn German in the special intensive German language program, offered for all exchange students. During this module, students take 30 hours (45 minutes) of German per week.
The course is taught by the staff of the Department of Intercultural Training of the Universität Stuttgart, Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. or from 1.30 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. The course also includes an orientation program on studying at the Universität Stuttgart as well as training components on intercultural competence. The objectives of this intensive course are: |
- to achieve proficiency in German at an advanced level corresponding to "Mittelstufe"
- improve listening comprehension and active use of German as a scientific language particularly in respect to the specific subject of the participant
- to acquire the learning techniques and communicative competence needed to study successfully at the Universität Stuttgart.
