Living in the Dormitory

| If you desire, you can live in a single room in the dormitory on Campus Vaihingen. 8-12 rooms are using a shared kitchen, 4- 6 rooms are sharing a bathroom. Rooms are completely furnished. For common use, every inhabitant has access to laundry and stabling rooms.
At the arrival you will receive the keys for your room. A student is going to bring you to your dormitory. For hygienic reasons, beds do not have any bedsheets and blankets. So you have to care about that on your own. There is also the possibility to buy them for 35 Euros at the arrival. At the departure you have three possibilities: dispose, keep or donate them. The rent for your room is 300 Euros during the summer course. You have to transfer that amount plus the course fees and 35 Euros for bedsheets and blankets to the bank account of the University of Stuttgart before the course starts.
At the registration you need to pay a deposit of 100 Euros. If there is any damage to the furniture or if the room is not tidy when you leave, we will take the deposit for the repair or cleaning costs. Please understand that we do not have any influence on the choice of the rooms. The University and the summer course do not have own rooms in the dormitory. We only receive the rooms for the duration of the summer course. The house keeper of the concerning dormitory will help you out if there are any problems, questions or repairs. |
| Internet access in the Dormitory |

| If you wish, you can get internet access in your room. Therefore, you have to make an application at the selfnet- office on 08/02/2012. A student will take you there to help you with your registration. The access is about 7 Euros. |
